Boy accosts ex-girlfriend in parking lot

A boy was arrested by the Kalispell Police Department and transported to the Flathead County Juvenile Detention Center after reportedly harassing his ex-girlfriend. She told police he showed up at her workplace on West Idaho Street and then hid under her car. When she got in the car, he crawled out and jumped into the vehicle, yelling at her and making her drive. He was arrested later after exiting the vehicle.

Somone jimmied the office door inside a South Main Street church and stole all the cash inside.

A woman was counseled about possible penalties if the complaints about her selling alcohol to minors were true.


The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to Big Mountain Road in Whitefish after a woman reportedly took a man’s vehicle, cellphone and credit cards after ransacking his house. The stolen property was all retrieved.

A group of hungry llamas were reported for having previously broken loose and eaten a Coyote Meadow Trail man’s shrubs.

A suspicious motorist was reported for regularly showing up at a bus stop on Bachelor Grade Road, but never picking up any children.

Someone cut a padlock at a Montana 35 business and stole diesel fuel from a bulk tank, then replaced the padlock with a cheaper one.

Someone used a pry bar to break into a Whitefish Stage Road store and then stole several items.

Someone broke into a River Road home in Columbia Falls and stole a television and computer equipment.

A motorist sustained minor injuries after striking and knocking down a light pole at the intersection of Bierney Creek Road and U.S. 93 South.


A boy got all the wrong kinds of attention Monday, when he was arrested by Whitefish Police Department officers for disorderly conduct on East Second Street. The principal of his school called police because he wanted to be advised when the boy was released from the Flathead Juvenile Detention Center.

A manager of a U.S. 93 South restaurant requested that a man not be arrested at the actual restaurant, that it was bad enough that he had stolen a purse while wearing his work uniform.

A Wisconsin Avenue woman requested officers come to her house when several people came by her home then left, leaving behind a drunk man between 19 and 21 years old passed out on her couch. The man was transported by officers to another location.


Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a person for partner or family member assault after responding to a report of a weapons disturbance on McMurtrie Street.

Deputies investigated a report of partner or family member assault on Black Lake Road in Dayton.
