Accidental shot lands man in hospital

A man was transported to the Kalispell Regional Medical Center after suffering an accidental gunshot wound to his arm.

A man contacted the Kalispell Police Department to report that someone sideswiped his vehicle while it was parked on East Washington Street. The man was then advised he had a warrant out for his arrest through the Montana Highway Patrol for failing to appear in court on several traffic offenses of his own.

Officers responded to a U.S. 93 South bar after a man punched another man in the face. The victim, who was bleeding, declined medical treatment and did not want to pursue any charges.

Officers gave a very drunken man a ride after a U.S. 93 North business reported he had just been dumped off in its lot drinking a Mike’s Hard Lemonade.

A report of people using drugs in a car next to a West Idaho Street gas station were found to just be going through a breakup.

A woman stole an entire cartload full of merchandise from a Hutton Ranch Road store.

A theft from a vehicle was reported on Fifth Avenue East.

A bicycle was stolen on West Center Street.

A school principal contacted the Whitefish Police Department to request officers deal with a disorderly student who was making threats.
