Hay theft reported near C. Falls
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday morning regarding the theft of 3 to 4 tons of hay sometime Saturday night from a Blackmer Lane address in the Columbia Falls area.
There was a report of a husband and wife having a loud argument at a residence on North Hilltop Road in the Columbia Falls area. The couple was separated.
Someone calling from a U.S. 2 address west of Kalispell reported that a neighbor shot her dog. After some inquiry, it was determined that the neighbor’s son shot the dog with a BB gun.
A man calling from U.S. 2 east of Kalispell reported that after he asked another man to leave, he was assaulted by a “speaker cord,” and then the unwanted man left.
A man calling from Montana 35 in the Evergreen area reported that his neighbor had his bicycle and then sold it a neighbor, and now the reporting party wants it back.
Early Monday, just after midnight, a man calling from a Montana 35 address in the Evergreen area reported that his brother was pounding on the door and wouldn’t leave. The brother eventually left.
A man calling from U.S. 2 East in the Coram area reported that he was struck in the face several times by another man, but the reporting party didn’t want to press any charges.
At about 3 a.m., an intoxicated pedestrian who was walking in the northbound lane of Main Street was arrested near the courthouse loop in Kalispell.
Whitefish Police got a report Sunday regarding a front window broken out of a building on East Second Street by a thrown beer bottle.
There was a report of an intoxicated woman taken to the hospital from a bar on Central Avenue, and the bartender accidentally gave her someone else’s credit card.
Early Sunday, at about 1:20 a.m., there was a report of a couple of people causing a ruckus outside a bar on Central Avenue. The ruckus eventually turned into a fight.
Columbia Falls Police got a report Sunday from a Fourth Avenue West address regarding a neighbor who has been “freaking out” for the last couple of days, saying things like, “I’m going to kill you.”
