<p>Volunteers come together at Whitefish Presbyterian Church Wednesday morning in an assembly line to put together food bags. About 400 bags were delivered to local schools to hand out to students who are served by the reduced-price breakfast and lunch programs and need meal assistance over the Christmas break. The Whitefish Community Foundation and Whitefish PTA were involved in the project. Iron Horse Foundation contributed $6,000 to the project, and Buffalo Cafe owners Charlie and Linda Metzold coordinated the food for the bags. Students at Whitefish High School, Whitefish Middle School, Muldown Elementary, Whitefish Christian Academy and Olney-Bissell School will receive the bags.</p><p></p>
