Boy arrested after stabbing incident

Kalispell Police Department officers arrested a boy after responding to a stabbing on Stillwater Loop. It was reported that a person was stabbed in the neck while there were approximately 10 people in the home.

A desk clerk at a North Main Street hotel reported receiving several complaints about a room where several people, all underage, were staying. The clerk could smell alcohol outside the room and reported that the same group asked him earlier that night what time they were not allowed to go into a local restaurant/bar since they were underage.

Someone broke a window at the Flathead County Jobs Service building on First Avenue East using an ice ball.

Someone entered an unlocked garage on Fifth Avenue East, rummaged through cars inside and left an axe behind.

Officers located a vehicle after it was reported stolen on South Main Street.

A drunk driver was arrested after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 93 North in which one person sustained a broken hand.

A youth was released to a parent after officers responded to a party on First Avenue East where drug use and underage drinking had been reported.

A man reported that he dropped his wallet in a Hutton Ranch Road store and that people behind him picked it up and kept it.

A man was arrested on an active warrant when officers responded to a verbal disturbance on Sunset Drive.

An iPod, snowboard boots and other items were stolen from a locked vehicle on First Avenue West.

Several items were stolen from a possibly unlocked Second Avenue West home over Christmas.

Money was stolen from a purse in an unlocked vehicle on Second Street West.

A purse was stolen from a vehicle on Eighth Avenue East.

Whitefish Police Department officers arrested a motorist during a traffic stop on Hospital Way.

A man was reported trying to sell methamphetamine at a Baker Avenue bar, possibly the DJ.

A motorist, possibly upset that Christmas decorations were still out, damaged a nativity scene while driving over the lawn of a Wisconsin Avenue church.
