Woman tiring of wormy cat

Sunday morning, a Merganser Drive woman told Kalispell Police that the neighbor’s cat keeps coming over to her house and has tape worms. The woman said she’s concerned the cat will transfer worms to her animals. He complaint was forwarded to animal control.

Officers were advised of a man in a sleeping bag in a field along West Railroad Street.

A backpack and a cell phone were stolen from a car at a hotel on U.S. 93.

Someone hit a parked car on 10th Street West. A caller told police the car was totaled with parts all over the road.

A woman hit a light pole at Woodland Park and was arrested for driving under the influence.

Earlier Sunday morning, officers advised some “Canadian neighbors,” who agreed to move along after they got into a conflict with a bouncer at a bar.

Two men were arrested at a hotel, one for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and the other for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving under the influence.

Saturday night, a man on Lupine Drive reported a washer, dryer, furniture, bike cart and decorations all taken from his home in the last few days.

Earlier Saturday, someone reported a suspected drunk driver in a blue truck swerving all over the road and running a stop sign. Officers took the truck keys and told the registered owner he could pick the keys up when he has a sober driver.

An inmate said his wallet was stolen from his home while he was in jail.

Someone spray-painted a bathroom at a business on U.S. 93.

A vehicle was stolen from a business on North Main Street.

A caller told police that two men took a bong hit while sitting in their vehicle at North Main and East Idaho streets.

A caller said he was harassed by a man begging for money on Third Avenue East North. Officers said it’s not illegal for the man to be on the public right of way and the caller was satisfied with that.

Saturday afternoon, a woman told Whitefish Police her purse was stolen on Central Avenue on Friday night.

A “possibly drunk and uncooperative man” told police that he has been walking the viaduct all year and the street lights don’t work and people have been falling. The man told police he would like something to be done.

Early Sunday, police arrested a man passed out in a running vehicle parked by a business on U.S. 93.

Saturday, a caller told Columbia Falls Police that someone stole a boat engine and a bike from an unlocked garage on 10th Avenue West.

Polson Police arrested someone for assault Saturday after responding to a report of suspicious activity on Third Avenue East.
