Naked driver offers girls a ride

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday afternoon from a woman who said a man with no clothes on pulled up to her two daughters on East Evergreen Drive in a dark blue passenger car, asked if they wanted a ride, and then drove off.

There was a report of a man and a woman having a very loud argument outside a McCaffery Road residence.

Forest Service law enforcement requested assistance with three youths who were caught with marijuana at the summit on Big Mountain. The juveniles were brought down the mountain, cited for possession and released to the custody of their parents.

There was a report of a man leaving two kids in a car for more than 40 minutes while he gambled in a Columbia Falls-area casino. The man claimed a friend was going to pick up the kids. He was counseled by a deputy.

A man was arrested for theft at a Patriot Way address after his roommate reported that he had stolen and pawned video discs from the roommate.

A man calling from Fir Terrace reported that he had been punched in the face by somebody. The parties involved were separated.

A woman reported that her angry ex showed up at her home on Antelope Trail and stole her dog.

A woman showed up at a neighboring home on First Avenue North West in Hungry Horse saying she had been beat up by a man. She went back to her residence. The man later said she had attempted to steal his truck and that she struck him and he was bleeding profusely from the head. The woman was arrested for partner/family member assault.

A man who had been in a fight at a bar the previous night reported to Kalispell Police that when he returned to pick up his vehicle Sunday, a window had been broken out, the hood had been opened and the gas tank had been tampered with.

There was a report of graffiti vandalism at a business on Airport Road.

There was a report from an East Idaho address regarding ski boots being stolen, with suspicions they had been pawned.

There was a report of a vehicle being vandalized on Eighth Avenue East.

There was a report of an altercation between a man and woman at a Fourth Avenue West address. The parties were counseled and separated.

After a disturbance at a different address on Fourth Avenue West North, an intoxicated man was arrested for partner/family member assault.

There was a report of a woman assaulting a bouncer at a bar on Airport Road after she was asked to leave the place.

Shortly after midnight Monday, a clerk at a store on First Avenue East North caught and held down a shoplifter who was later arrested for theft and being a minor in possession.

A man calling from a Vista Loop address reported that someone attempted to break into his vehicle, triggering an alarm. It appeared there may have been a similar theft attempt on a neighbor’s vehicle.

There was a report of two guns stolen from a vehicle on Empire Loop.

There was a report of a disturbance involving a man threatening a manager at a store on Hutton Ranch Road.

Someone reported the theft of jewelry from a Three Mile Drive address, with suspicions the items had been pawned.
