| February 7, 2012 3:36 PM

Jane Deloris Miller, 82, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center from a stroke.

Jane was born Aug. 6, 1929, in Eureka, to Willard and Isabelle Omyer. Jane was the eldest of seven children, five brothers and one sister. She grew up in Trego, until the family moved to Oregon when she was in her early teens. After a short time, the family moved to the Flathead Valley in Montana, where she lived most of the rest of her life.

On June 7, 1946, Jan married Irvin Miller of Kalispell. They raised a family of five children. Jane was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, always of good cheer and kindness. Jane’s eyes sparkled when she smiled and smiles came easy for her.

She was baptized March 29, 1953, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where she came to have a large group of friends. She loved her faith and enjoyed spending much of her time sharing it with others. Jane will be greatly missed. This world was a better place with her in it.

Jane was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon; son, Terry; her parents; and three brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Irvin, of Kalispell; two sons, Steve of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Leonard of Kalispell; and two daughters, Kathy Montgomery of Great Falls, Va., and Janice Miller of Seattle.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1100 W. Reserve, Kalispell.
