MISSOULA - The Glacier girls went in to Missoula on Tuesday night and nearly came away with an upset of No. 2 Missoula Sentinel, losing the game 47-42. The Wolfpack had won six of its last seven games since its first meeting with the Spartans this season, and led 11-7 after the first quarter. But, a poor second quarter doomed the rest of the night. The Wolfpack was outscored 18-9 in the second and trailed by five points at half, a lead it couldn't erase after halftime.

Nicole Heavirland scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Pack, which is now 4-3 in Western AA and 9-5 overall, tied for third in the conference with Capital. DJ Reinhardt led Sentinel (5-2, 11-4) with 18. The Spartans had dropped back-to-back games to Helena High and Capital.
