Video captured woman stealing

A thief who thought they pulled a fast one was reported to the Kalispell Police Department. The woman stole a purse from another woman at a business on South Main Street and then brought it back to her, telling the victim a young girl had stolen it, but the victim discovered that drugs that had been inside the purse were gone.

Unbeknownst to the thief, the incident was captured on video.

A car, a trailer and three garbage cans were reported spray painted on Harrison Boulevard. The trailer had yellow lemons spray painted on it.

A First Avenue resident reported a radar detector and satellite radio unit stolen from his locked vehicle. He told police he believed the thief was his soon-to-be ex-wife.

A man and a woman were arrested after being caught attempting to shoplift at a business on U.S. 93 North.

A man was arrested after stealing beer from a business on West Idaho Street.

A wallet was reported stolen on Third Street East.

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report that a wedding ring and other miscellaneous items were stolen on Ninth Street West.

Officers with the Ronan Police Department arrested a shoplifter at a gas station.

The Polson Police Department investigated a report of suspicious activity.
