Armed women prompt cop call

A pair of armed women were reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

A resident of Montana 35 in Bigfork told police the women came up to her house and asked about her neighbors by name. When she pointed out their house to the women and they began walking away, she saw they had guns and handcuffs under their shirts. Police told the resident that she lives next to a convicted felon currently on probation, so it is likely she will see law enforcement there quite often.

A man in sweatpants was reported trying to sell newspaper subscriptions door to door and urinating on the sidewalk in front of children on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell.

A resident of East Cottonwood Drive in Evergreen reported that his neighbor saw people stealing his scrap metal.

An Evergreen man reported there were demons in his head provoking him.

A man was arrested after leaving a gas station on U.S. 93 South in Whitefish without paying for $20.12 worth of gas.

Officers with the Kalispell Police Department arrested a man after he pulled a knife on his mother and brother on Triple Creek Drive. When he pulled the knife, his mother’s boyfriend held him down and punched him. The man also pushed his mother and tried to choke his brother.

A local couple brought cash to the police department that they found in a city park. It can be claimed at the department by describing the amount, park and location in the park where it was lost.

A group of considerate musicians practicing on Bluestone Drive agreed to turn down the volume and take measures to make their neighbors happy after a nearby resident reported the drums being played very loudly and causing issues for her.

A flat-screen television was reported stolen from a home on Fifth Street West. The front door had been locked, and there were no signs of forced entry.

An auto electric business on West Center Street was reported burglarized.

A vehicle was reported keyed in the parking lot of a high school on Fourth Avenue West.

A concerned parent contacted the Columbia Falls Police Department after a suspicious man around 50 years old approached the caller’s 17-year-old daughter, trying to get her phone number, email address and Facebook contact info. The parent reported that every time the girl looked at the man, he would give her a weird smile. The man was in a white pickup truck with a camper on the back.

A restaurant worker reported a roving group of teenagers reeking of alcohol on Ninth Street West. When they were located, two of the teens blew zeros in intoxilyzer tests, while a third tested at 0.1 percent and was cited and released to parents.

A woman reported someone smashed a window in her truck while she was on her way to the post office.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested a motorist for driving with a suspended or revoked license after responding to a vehicle accident with property damage.

A motorist was cited for careless driving on Pablo West Road.

Officers with the Polson Police Department investigated incidents of disorderly conduct after responding to noise complaints on 10th Avenue West and 13th Avenue East.
