C-Falls resident has 'hip-hop' problem

A surprised resident of 12th Street East North in Columbia Falls called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office for suggestions from animal control on what to do with several rabbits someone dropped off at his house.

Fresh fuel was added to an unneighborly dispute going back four or five years when one man nearly drove into the other while he was plowing snow on Third Street West in Hungry Horse.

A possible crime was reported by a customer at a metal recycling facility who found several veteran plaques for headstones in a brass bin.

A woman was arrested for partner or family member assault on Buccaneer Lane in Kalispell after police responded to a report of a physical disturbance.

A Kalispell man said someone who damaged his door trying to get into his home must have been scared off by his dog.

A Hungry Horse resident reported a man disabled his vehicle and kicked out a headlight and was heading to a bar. The man was apparently released from jail on his own recognizance that day and is not supposed to be drinking.

An Evergreen man reported guns were taken from his East Cottonwood Drive home by his soon-to-be ex-wife.

A resident of Plentywood Drive in Evergreen reported that someone left a dead puppy in a plastic bag in her driveway.

A bounty hunter called with a question about a fugitive in the area.

A resident of Fourth Avenue West North in Columbia Falls reported her dog was attacked by a wolf or coyote.

Medicine was reported stolen from a home on West Cottonwood Drive in Evergreen.

The Kalispell Police Department received a false alarm when it was reported that a “kid” was trying to break into a car on Second Avenue West using a back scratcher. It was discovered that the “kid” was the owner of the car. No word on what was up with the “back scratcher.”

A pair of men were reported checking vehicles on Third Avenue West.

A concerned driver reported a school bus driving across both lanes of the road on Seventh Street East.

Several mailboxes were knocked over on Ashley Creek Lane.

Three tires were slashed on a vehicle while it was parked on Third Avenue East.

The window of a vehicle on Second Avenue East North was shot.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of residential burglary.

The Polson Police Department received a report of theft on 10th Avenue West.
