Rosters for the 66th Annual Montana East-West Shrine Game have been announced.

Several local athletes are on the West football roster.

They are Austin Barth (OLB) of Columbia Falls, Josiah Clairmont (G), Vince DiGiallonardo (QB) and Paul McClurg (OLB) of Polson, Cody Dopps (RB) and Dillon Fraley (DE) of Bigfork, Anthony Gugliuzza (Spec), Luke Halliburton (DL) and Caleb Harris (DE) of Glacier, Nick Reilly (G) and George Sherwood (WR) of Flathead, Maximillian Smith (DL) and Gage Vasquez (WR) of Whitefish and Sawyer Zimmerman (DL) of Libby.

West alternates are Austin Cantrell (DL) and Connor Coleman (DE) of Bigfork, Matt Iavicoli (ILB) and Mack Sutherland (G) of Glacier and Travis Oakason (T) of Flathead.

Players were nominated by their schools, voted upon by coaches across the state and finally selected as the "best of the best" to participate.

Glacier's Grady Bennett is the head coach for the West team. This is Bennett's first year as head coach, after being a West assistant with Bob Applegate in 1997 and with Terry Thomas in 2007. He played quarterback for the winning West team in 1986.

Mark Sulser, long time coach of Billings Senior is the head coach for the East. Sulser was the head coach for the East in 2004 and was as assistant in 2002.

The Shrine Game is a bit of a Sulser family tradition. Mark's dad Sid played in the 1951 game, his brother Dennis in the 1977 game and his son Ben will play in the 2012 game.

The game, the premier all-star football game in Montana, will be played July 21 in Great Falls.

This is one of the oldest high school all-star football games in the U.S. It has been played every year since 1947 to raise money and to help make the public aware of the expert orthopedic and burn care available at the Shriner's Hospital for Children in Spokane, Wash. In recent years, the Montana game has become one of the top Shrine Games in the nation for hosptial donations.
