Kathy C. Jacobs, 57

Kathy C. Jacobs, 57, passed away at home on Dec. 20, 2011, in Bigfork.

She was born Jan. 1, 1954, in Corona, Calif., one of three children of Maxine and Charles Meznarich (now deceased). She graduated from Poway High School before going on to nursing school and obtaining her nursing license.

 Kathy worked in health care for more than 30 years as a nurse and administrator, where she touched many people's lives. Everyone knew her as a loving and caring person, and she was considered a “second mom” to many.

She loved to spend time with friends and family, bowling, laughing, researching her family tree and doing arts and crafts.

Kathy will be forever remembered by her mother, Maxine; brother, Mark Meznarich; her three children, Matthew and Tyler Jacobs and Kristen Thelen; son-in-law, Zach Thelen; and grandson, Benjamin Thelen.

Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Kathy’s life this summer in Bigfork, with a spreading of her ashes.
