Bartender says he did not expose himself, as alleged

A man who was kicked out of a bar early Sunday morning told the Columbia Falls Police Department that a bartender there had twice exposed his private parts to about 30 people.

When contacted by police, the bartender and other patrons at the bar said the man's report was unfounded. The man who had called police was reportedly trying to sell drugs and threatened to return with a gun when he was kicked out.

Saturday night, a man trying to buy beer on Ninth Street West was refused service and then passed out in the lounge. Police gave him a ride home.

Sunday morning, a caller on Appleway Drive reported graffiti sprayed on the side of a building to the Kalispell Police Department.

Earlier Sunday, a caller on Nicklaus Avenue reported two vehicles broken into with footprints around them, but nothing missing. Two other callers on Nicklaus Avenue also reported someone trying to get into their vehicles.

A man on Liberty Street told police his Ford Crown Victoria was spray painted orange Saturday night.

A College Avenue caller reported finding graffiti on a fence.

A woman on Greatview Drive said unknown suspects spray painted her garage door and her neighbor's.

An apartment building on Appleway Drive was also reportedly spray painted.

A caller on Vanderbilt Drive said someone tried to gain entry into a vehicle. The caller followed tracks around the neighborhood.

A man told police that someone went through his vehicle while he was at the movies. Nothing was taken.

Saturday evening, a woman on Merganser Drive told police that she and her daughter are receiving ongoing prank calls from girls that go to her daughter's school. The calls are not threatening, just very annoying.

Earlier Saturday, a man on U.S. 2 told police that subjects took his phone and keys. He said he is in the process of getting a temporary restraining order against them and they stole his items to retaliate.

A woman said someone at a business on U.S. 2 is putting things in people's drinks. She said she had two friends there Friday night who only had one or two drinks and were very intoxicated, and when she went to pick them up the people who worked there threatened her.

Police stopped a man on North Meridian Road and arrested him for driving under the influence.

A woman on U.S. 93 told police she is receiving vulgar text messages and threats. She said that if the woman showed up at her room she would "put a three-inch blade in her gut."

Some called CrimeStoppers to report subjects dealing methamphetamine at a Kalispell motel.

A man on Fourth Avenue West said someone broke the screen door off his house.

A young man being held in a security office at a business on U.S. 93 was arrested on outstanding warrants.

Suspicious activity on Wisconsin Avenue was reported to the Whitefish Police Department Saturday evening.

A physical disturbance on Wisconsin Avenue was reported to police later that night.

Suspicious activity on Baker Avenue was reported early Sunday morning.

The Polson Police Department arrested someone for possession of dangerous drugs while on a business check at a bar early Saturday morning.
