MISSOULA - Missoula Big Sky had five pins to Flathead's three and both schools forfeited two weight classes as the Eagles emerged with a 45-36 AA dual wrestling victory over the Braves on Thursday evening.

Winning by pin for Flathead were: Haze Bell at 119, Jake Egley at 152, and Larry Francis at 171.

Francis stuck his foe - Justin Duffy - in 17 seconds.

"We still have three starters out because of injuries," Flathead coach Matt Owen said of Tyler Davis at 119, Coty Piasecki at 135 and Nick Iavicoli at 152.

"We're still waiting on a few people to get healthy."

Iavicoli is expected back this week. He's been out since the Polson Invitational with a "broken shoulder." Owen said doctors have cleared Iavicoli to resume wrestling.

"We had some bright spots in the dual," Owen said. "Haze Bell, a freshman at 119, stepped in there and got a good win. Kalien Liehr wrestled really well at 130. He had a close match, but pulled it out at the end."
