Bonnie Elsie Alice Schlegel Winter, 76, passed away on June 11, 2012, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Bonnie was born on July 8, 1935 in Kalispell, to Louis and Gladys Schlegel.

Bonnie was educated in Kalispell and married Robert I. Sagen in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They had four children, Bennie Jo Sagen, Robert Thomas Sagen, Cathy Sagen Finberg and Connie Sagen Warner.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and Bennie Schlegel; husband, Robert I. Sagen; and two sons, Bennie Jo Sagen and Robert Thomas Sagen.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Cathy Sagen Finberg, and Connie Sagen Warner and husband William “Bumps” Winter; brother, Louis “Bill” Schlegel; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place. At Bonnie’s request there are no public services planned. A family gathering to celebrate Bonnie’s life is being planned at a future date.
