Graffiti reported all over town
Officers with the Kalispell Police Department were hard at work Thursday morning looking for graffiti around town. Graffiti was located on East Montana Street, Seventh Avenue East, East Washington Street, North Meridian Road, Third Avenue West North, Fourth Avenue West North, Sixth Avenue West North, West Idaho Street, North Main Street, Third Street West and in an alley downtown.
A homeless man was seen firing a gun in the middle of Third Avenue West.
Marijuana was found in the men’s restroom at a business on U.S. 93 North.
A woman was reported going crazy, fighting and hitting people on Airport Road.
A group of six youths on skateboards were reported messing with the traffic speed machine set up on East Oregon Street.
A roughly 50-year-old man was reported handing out joints to youths at the Woodland Skate Park. An officer spoke with the man and found no evidence that he had been distributing drugs.
An observant citizen reported three people in a vehicle on East Idaho Street “shooting up” with a hypodermic needle.
Someone broke out a screen on an Airport Road home and made it inside. The burglar caused damage but did not seem to have stolen anything.
A man reported to a pharmacist on West Idaho Street that his medications had been stolen.
Deputies with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office turned a 2-year-old boy over to child protective services he was found wandering down the road in footie pajamas on Bison Drive.
A Collier Lane resident reported her neighbors were playing their music so loud it was “giving her house a heartbeat.”
A Blacktail Road resident in Lakeside complained about the neighbor’s two dogs sitting in the road, saying he almost hit one that day and had hit one in the past. He said their owners needed to be six feet underground.
A Bear Trail resident in Whitefish reported her sister took her dog and will not return it.
A black Monte Carlo was reportedly racing back and forth and doing burnouts on Brunner Road.
High-end camera gear was stolen from a business on Montana 35 in Bigfork.
Silver flatwear was stolen on West Cottonwood Drive.
The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report that a cellphone and $1.50 were stolen from a locker on Fourth Avenue West.
Officers with the Polson Police Department arrested a person for shoplifting at a supermarket.
A person was found in possession of dangerous drugs on Driftwood Lane.
A theft was reported on C Avenue.
Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested a person for disorderly conduct after responding to a report of suspicious activity at a tribal complex.
