Lawrence A. White, 88

Lawrence A. White, 88, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012, in Kalispell.

Lawrence was raised in Hood River, Ore. After high school graduation, he enlisted in the Navy where he served honorably during World War II.  

Lawrence married Lorane M. Nichols in November, 1945, and remained married to his sweetheart until her death in 2002. Lawrence moved his family to the Flathead Valley in 1961.

Lawrence is survived by one daughter, Joan White, who resides in Lindsay, Calif.; and one sister Mary Ward of Odell, Ore.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.   

Lawrence donated his body to the WAMI (Washington, Arizona, Montana and Idaho) program at Montana State University for medical research.

The family suggests that donations be sent to Veterans Food Pantry, 1349 U.S. Highway 2 East, Kalispell, MT 59901.
