Ronald J. Malone, 79

Ronald J. Malone, 79, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Ronald was born March 12, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Joseph and Marion (Schanberger) Malone.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He married Irene Boyden in 1955, and moved to Long Island in 1961 to work for American Airlines at JFK for 40-plus years. In 2007, he moved to beautiful Columbia Falls, where he spent his final years.

Ronald was a loving father and grandfather, and is survived by his children, Susan Straub of Southold, N.Y., Carolyn Denson of Boca Raton, Fla., and Amy Sellmann of Columbia Falls; and his grandchildren, Jennifer, Johanna, Julia, Christopher, Abigail, Bethany, Arline and Amelia.

“Dad, you are forever in our hearts and you will be missed.”

Services will be private.
