Woman terrorized by boyfriend

A fight between a man and his girlfriend on U.S. 2 East in Coram ended when the man was arrested by deputies with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

The girlfriend initially called crying and then the line went dead. Dispatch called back and made contact with the woman, who was still yelling and crying. She told the dispatcher her boyfriend was going to kill her. He was heard in the background repeatedly screaming obscenities and saying he hoped he went to prison. The phone then went dead again.

When deputies arrived at the scene the man was gone. Three hours later he returned and was arrested.

In other news from the sheriff’s office, a Lakeside woman on Stoner Creek Road reported her ex-boyfriend got a call from a friend in Wisconsin asking him to purchase marijuana and mail it to him. Her ex-boyfriend told her it was just a joke.

A man was assaulted by his girlfriend on Winterloop Lane in Whitefish. She punched him about 10 times and choked him, leaving lumps on his head. Both were drunk.

A mother called with questions about a pill she found in her daughter’s bedroom on Coon Hollow Road in Kila.

A disgruntled employee has repeatedly gone onto a computer at a Helena Flats Road business in Kalispell and changed passwords.

Mail was thrown all over the road on Foys Lake Road in Kalispell.

A syringe and other drug paraphernalia were reported found near a work site on U.S. 93 South.

Prescription medication was reported stolen from luggage at the airport on U.S. 2.

A person broke into a shop under construction on Witty Lane in Columbia Falls and stole several items.

A Thompson Lane resident in Evergreen reported that a roommate stole several items.

A thief gave officers with the Kalispell Police Department the slip when she left a U.S. 93 South motel early in the morning without paying additional charges for her room. She initially paid cash for a room, which she had filled with items that still had tags attached, and gave several conflicting stories of why she was staying there. She left driving a Ford Explorer, but no vehicles were registered to her.

A wily shoplifter escaped from an employee at a store on U.S. 93 South.

A pair of men were drinking and smoking marijuana in a truck on Hutton Ranch Road.

A woman reported she loaned a breast pump to a First Avenue West woman and she would not return it.

An Adams Trail-A-Bike worth $100 was reportedly stolen from a garage on U.S. 2 East.

A junior high school student stole several boxes of condoms from a business on Ninth Street West. An employee of the store reported to the Columbia Falls Police Department that it was captured on video.

A woman turned herself in on a warrant.

The Whitefish Police Department received a report of theft on U.S. 93 South.

The Polson Police Department received a report of a theft from a vehicle at KwaTaqNuk Resort.
