Montana Golden Gloves Saturday night

The 2012 Montana Golden Gloves boxing championships will take place Saturday at the Red Lion Hotel.

Weigh-ins are at 10 a.m. with boxing at 6 p.m.

Burton Boxing is producing the event, which will have 15-20 bouts on the fight card.

Tickets are $15 in advance; $5 for children under 10. A few tables are still available for $250 (10 people).

Tickets can be purchased today from noon-9 p.m. at Burton Boxing, 905 Center Street. Tickets at the door are $20.

Sixteen local boxers will compete under the tag Flathead Boxing Club. Those fighters are from three clubs — Burton Boxing, Westshore Boxing and Flathead Boxing.

They are: Matt Gash Gilder, 13; Taylor Riggles, 16; Masen Keltner, 9; Hunter Linstead, 16; Kenny Guzman, 25; Kavi Fix, 11; Kevin Sturgis, 11; Zeb Bedoian, 11; Jake Bedoian, 14; Tevin Groshelle, 17; Bob Leavitt, 18; Jarrett Smith, 20; Skyler Eaglebeer, 9; Ben Davis, 15; Cody Grilley, 10; and Bill Pritchett, 31.

Golden Glove winners advance to regional competition. Regional winners will compete in the National Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions in Mesquite, Nevada, at the Casa Blanca Resort on April 30.
