Caller claims youths were injected with drugs

Sunday afternoon, a caller on Third Avenue East asked to talk to a Kalispell Police Department officer about a subject “shooting up” underage kids with drugs. The caller was headed to the hospital and the information was passed along to a task force.

During a traffic stop at Main and West Idaho streets, police collected a partial 12-pack of beer for disposal.

Earlier Sunday, someone on Northview Loop reported getting threatening text messages and phone calls. They were advised to get a temporary restraining order.

Early Sunday morning, a man outside a business on Airport Road said he was confronted by two women who were yelling at him and one of their husbands got in his face and attacked him. The man said he would sober up and decide if he wants to pursue charges.

An officer moved a broken light out of the driving lanes on Liberty Street.

After responding to a verbal disturbance reported on First Avenue West North, police were advised to be on the lookout for a suicidal man on foot, possibly with weapons.

A woman on Liberty Street reported a drunk man trying to enter her house, kicking at a door and yelling for someone to give him his phone back.

Late Saturday night, a large group of juveniles in a parking lot on First Avenue East North were advised to move along.

A night manager on U.S. 93 reported a drunk man wearing two hats and a dirty blue coat walking around the building. She told police she needed to empty the garbage and did not feel comfortable doing so.

Earlier that evening, a man on Fifth Avenue West said a woman beat him up.

A man on Third Avenue East told police that his ex-girlfriend kicked in a basement window and broke into his home. The woman later reported that her boyfriend locked her out of the house. Police took the woman to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office on a felony warrant.

A caller on Third Avenue East North reported finding a bike with black spray paint on it.

A teenage girl reported missing was found a couple hours later and taken to the hospital.

Saturday afternoon, a woman on Second Avenue West said three skateboarders were asked to leave the property and refused. One of them told her he was going to kill her dog.

Saturday, a man on Martha Road told the Columbia Falls Police Department that items were stolen from his vehicle.

Three callers reported a suspected intoxicated driver in a small white car who ran a red light, drove off the road at one point and later almost hit a pedestrian who had to leap into a ditch. The driver was ticketed.

Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested someone for aggravated assault in the Arlee area on Saturday.

Whitefish Police Department officers investigated separate reports of suspicious activity on East Second Street and U.S. 93.
