District 7B honors basketball players
Six local players were named to the Class B All-State team, three each on the boys and girls sides.
Bigfork’s Ian Lorang, Troy’s Cory Orr and Eureka’s Ryan Holder each made All-State for the boys while Eureka’s Cassidy Morgan and Bigfork’s Melissa VanDerveer and Taylor Peck made the girls team.
Troy’s Ryan Rayson and Bigfork’s Austin Jordt joined the All-State boys on the all-conference first team in District 7B. The second team featured seniors Jackson Boese of Bigfork, Tanner Peterson of Eureka and Cody Orr of Troy.
Bigfork’s Cody Dopps and Chris Landon and Eureka’s Tanner Blankers and Bryton Guckenberg were honorable mention.
The Trojans’ Jordan Williams made the first team for the girls, while Eureka’s Alyssa White and Bigfork’s Tessa Robertson headlined the second team.
Bigfork’s Mckinze Shults and Eureka’s Alex Holland were each named honorable mention.
