Christopher David Atkinson, 33

Memorial services for U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Christopher David Atkinson, 33, from Lakeside will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at the Kalispell Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1375 Highway 93 North, with Pastor Casey Higgins officiating.

Christopher was born on May 23, 1978, in Frankfurt, Germany, to Dan and Louise (Thom) Atkinson. Christopher passed away on Feb. 21, 2012, in Temple, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Adrian Atkinson, and their five sons, Micah Quitugua, Elijah Quitugua, Isaiah Quitugua, Malikai Atkinson and Raidyn Atkinson, all of Fort Hood, Texas, where Christopher was assigned with the 1st Battalion, 393rd Infantry Regiment, 479th Field Artillery Brigade. He is also survived by his parents, Dan and Louise Atkinson, of Lakeside; brother, Dan Atkinson, of Salisbury, Md.; and sister Serenity, (Atkinson) Greenfield, of Alexandria, Va.
