Concerned citizen reports texted photo

A text message sent to the wrong number initiated a concerned call to the Kalispell Police Department. The person reported receiving a text with a picture of an 8- or 9-year-old girl. When the person sent a text back asking who the sender and child were, the sender responded that she had picked the girl up at a rodeo.

Upon investigation, police discovered the sender was a woman who had sent the photo of her daughter in a rodeo outfit on a rocking horse to the wrong number.

A woman was arrested after police responded to a home on Ninth Avenue West where a man reported his girlfriend punched him, choked him and threw plates at him.

A report of stalking on U.S. 2 West led to a man being arrested on a charge of driving under the influence.

A man was arrested for driving under the influence during a traffic stop on First Avenue West.

A man was arrested for violating a restraining order on Great View Drive.

A theft was reported at a foreclosed property on Aurich Avenue.

A person was cited and released for possessing drug paraphernalia on Third Avenue East.

Medication, an MP3 player, CDs and clothes were reported stolen from a jacket in a casino on West Idaho Street.

A theft by an employee was reported on Corporate Drive.

A resident of McMannamy Draw in Kalispell reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office that a landlord stole items from the resident’s shed, boat and scooter.

A 32-inch flat-screen television was stolen from a home on Shady Lane in Evergreen.

Someone ran over a mailbox on Woodland Avenue in Kalispell.

A mailbox was stolen on Rhodes Draw in Kalispell.

A resident of Smith Lake Road in Kalispell reported people below her were playing music extremely loud.

The Whitefish Police Department received a report of a fight on Central Avenue.

Criminal mischief was reported on Central Avenue.

After responding to a report of disorderly conduct, the Ronan Police Department discovered someone had trespassed on a property on Eisenhower Street South East.
