Grace Louise Blanchet, 85

 Grace Louise Blanchet, 85, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012, from a heart condition.

Grace was born on the farm in Fairview School District on Sept. 7, 1926, to Louis J. and Annie L. (Clarke) Blanchet.

Dr. Ross delivered her and helped her dad set up the heating stove to keep the house warm.

Grace attended school at Fairview for seven years and one year at Deer Park. She graduated from Flathead County High School in 1944, at age 17. She went to work for Equity Supply Company in the office as a bookkeeper, for 46 years. She was well liked by the farmers doing their business with her. She was a good and honest worker.

Grace stayed single and never married.

She is survived by one brother, Richard Blanchet; good friend, Pauline Sjordal; and several cousins.

Funeral services for Grace will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Monday, March 26 at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home.
