Knutson, Dixon state all-round gymnastics champions

BILLINGS — Flathead Gymnastic Academy’s Rebecca Knutson and Katie Dixon were all-around winners in Level 7 and 5, respectively, at the Montana State Gymnastics Championships at MetraPark Montana Pavilion on Saturday.

Knutson turned in an all-around score of 36.675 (9.30 vault, 8.975 bars, 9.15 beam, 9.25 floor) in the 13-and-older bracket. She finished .200 ahead of runner-up Kylie Carter of Billings.

Dixon posted an all-around score of 37.650 (9.200 vault, 9.550 bars, 9.450 beam, 9.450 floor) in the 11-year-old bracket. She finished .500 ahead of Maya Nguyen-Haberneski of Missoula.
