Was it the not-so-great train robbery?

A Columbia Falls resident called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office after they saw what they believed was a man shooting at a train. Deputies spoke with landscapers working near the crossing where it was alleged to have happened and they said they did not hear any shooting.

An Evergreen homeowner called deputies after discovering the Parliament Drive house she had been renting had been damaged. Some interior doors were missing, there was a hole in one of the bedroom walls and a wood stove was stolen from the garage.

A Whitefish resident saw two teenagers trying to steal ski equipment on Rest Haven Drive. They were surprised by a neighbor, dropped the items and ran.

A Kalispell resident reported his or her 4-year-old daughter had been molested.

A Lakeside resident reported that a neighbor had “numerous, numerous cats.”

A Somers landlord reported her tenants, to whom she has served an eviction notice, have changed the locks on the house.

A horse trailer was stolen on U.S. 2 West in Kalispell.

Sunglasses, iPods and other items were stolen from a vehicle on Houston Drive in Whitefish.

A motorist reported another driver to the Kalispell Police Department after the man tailgating him later threatened him. The man reportedly said he had a gun under his seat and was going to use it.

Two people were cited and released during a traffic stop on West Wyoming Street.

A man was captured on video stealing a stereo system from a store on U.S. 93 North.

A pair of men were captured on video stealing beer from a store on West Idaho Street.

A theft was reported on Great View Drive.

A theft by an employee was reported on U.S. 93 North.

A car was egged on South Main Street.

Officers with the Columbia Falls Police Department arrested a drunk woman after she walked into a bar on Nucleus Avenue and started throwing things at the bartender. The woman also threatened to damage the bar before leaving and running from police.

Someone broke the window of a pickup truck on Nucleus Avenue and stole a subwoofer.

The Whitefish Police Department received reports of trespassing on O’Brien Avenue and Riverside Avenue.

A theft was reported on Central Avenue.

Criminal mischief was reported on Texas Avenue.

Officers with the Ronan Police Department arrested a person for partner or family member assault on Eisenhower South West.

Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office arrested a person for shoplifting from a grocery store.

The Polson Police Department received a report of a theft from a golf course maintenance shop.
