Flathead High School grad and pro football prospect Brock Osweiler held his Pro Day for NFL scouts and executives on Friday in Tempe, Ariz.

Representatives from 28 teams showed up at the workouts on the campus of Arizona State, where the former Braves quarterback played for the last three seasons. According to the Arizona Republic, Osweiler was very aggressive in the workouts, throwing in front of scouts for more than an hour and displaying his big arm and athleticism in a series of drills.

Osweiler was forced to push his Pro Day back after suffering a mid-foot sprain in the Las Vegas Bowl at the end of the season. He did not throw at the NFL Combine or at Arizona State’s pro day earlier this month.

Some of the NFL personnel in attendance included Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, along with the offensive coordinator and GM from Seattle, Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland and Browns quarterback coach Mark Whipple.

According to the Republic, scouts were impressed by the workout and Osweiler’s draft prospects may have gotten a boost from the strong performance. NFL.com’s Gil Brandt believes Osweiler may have worked his way into the first round of April’s NFL Draft, while other draft gurus have him landing anywhere from the first to third rounds. ESPN/Scouts Inc. has him rated as the 29th best prospect in the draft and the fourth best quarterback.
