Keenan, Weimer medalists for Bigfork at St. Regis Invitational
ST. REGIS — Sara Keenan of Bigfork shot an 85 to claim medalist honors at the St. Regis Invitational golf tournament on Thursday.
It was Keenan’s first invitational title this spring after several runner-up and top five finishes.
Keenan won by seven shots.
Teammate Maddie Lorang shot 103 to finish third.
In boys play, it was a 1-2 finish for Bigfork with Blake Weimer shooting 77 and Lars Gittings 78.
The Bigfork boys tied Missoula Loyola Sacred Heart for second place, both with 345 totals.
Thompson Falls shot a team-best 340.
Wallace, Idaho, was the lone school fielding a full team on the girls side.
Next on the schedule for Bigfork is the divisional tournament on Monday.
Huntley Project will host state May 15-16.
