Girlfriend reports abusive man

Officers with the Kalispell Police Department arrested a man after he reportedly assaulted his girlfriend. The girlfriend contacted police from the emergency room while he was in the waiting room. By the time officers arrived, he was gone. They eventually tracked him down and arrested him on Glenwood Drive. The man was also wanted as a possible suspect in an April burglary in Columbia Falls.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for urinating in another student’s locker and water bottle at a school on Northwest Lane.

An 11-year-old girl was counseled and her parents advised after she sent sexual and intimidating or harassing messages via Facebook to other female students at a school on Northwest Lane.

A boy was cited for being a minor in possession of drug paraphernalia after his mother found a marijuana pipe in his vehicle. That was after officers responded to a report of the boy having run away.

A bus service is requesting charges be pursued against two boys who cut leather school bus seats and caused significant damage.

A boy was arrested on Wolfpack Way after being caught on video stealing an iPod Touch from a classroom.

A drunk, homeless man was passed out in the front lobby of a hotel on U.S. 93 South.

Officers were called to U.S. 93 South twice in less than an hour to deal with a drunk man who was first rolling on the ground in a parking lot and later refusing to leave.

Cigarettes and change were stolen from a vehicle on Third Avenue East.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of two men shooting across the Flathead River toward a road. The person who reported the men saw a splash in the water and then looked up and saw one of the men with a rifle.

Residents of Two Mile Drive in Kalispell reported someone shooting off “something really loud” that sounded like a cannon, scaring neighbors and their dogs.
