Grandma calls cops on 5-year-old

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office was advised that a grandmother, wanting to teach a lesson to her 5-year-old granddaughter she was raising, called 911 after telling her granddaughter she would if the girl did not calm down.

A boy pushing a lawnmower down Fourth Street South in Martin City abandoned the lawnmower and fled when a resident approached him.

After being reported as a runaway by her grandmother, a 15-year-old girl on probation for assault returned home and told her grandmother she wanted to go to jail rather than continue living with her.

A dead animal was reported in the yard of a home on East Edgewood Drive in Whitefish. Upon further investigation, it was found to be a dead pig being used for an anthropology research project.

Officers with the Kalispell Police Department made contact with a man at his home and counseled him on driving drunk after he was reported trying to buy beer from a store on North Meridian Road multiple times when he was already drunk.

A woman was reported flashing people from the passenger side of a truck on U.S. 93 South.

A pair of men tried to get into an apartment on Windward Way by unlocking the windows.

A landlord was advised of an ongoing issue of loud music at one of his units on Eighth Street West and that he could be cited for having a disorderly house if the tenants do not quiet down.
