BIGFORK — Whitefish wrapped up a busy weekend on the tennis courts, sweeping Bigfork on Saturday in a nonconference matchup.

The Whitefish boys rolled to a 6-1 win while the WHS girls won 5-2.

On Friday, Whitefish tangled with Polson in a Northwestern dual for boys and girls. Polson won both by 7-0 scores.

“We mixed up our lineup a little bit,” WHS boys coach Chris Schwaderer said for the Bigfork match. “(Camp) Kenyon and (Connor) Ellis ... put them in singles. We played some younger kids who haven’t had an opportunity.”

For the Whitefish girls ...

“The Polson match, we just got rolled into a buzz saw,” WHS girls coach Patrick Dryden said.

“In the Bigfork match, No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles were very entertaining, hard fought matches. Sloan Ellis (Whitefish) and Brooke Bonner (Bigfork) had a long, well-played match (at No. 3 singles).”
