Sheriff's office investigates possible rape

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible rape after a resident of Montana 35 in Evergreen reported a young naked woman beating on the door of his apartment. The woman said that, while out with friends, she met a guy and went back to his house with him. She said he then started punching and assaulting her. The incident remains under investigation.

A Columbia Falls resident on U.S. 2 West reported a jet flying very low overhead spraying a toxic chemical. He was adamant that the plane was not a crop duster and that he was not seeing a contrail.

A 10-year-old third-grade student from Cayuse Praire School was reported for screaming at the school’s staff and punching the principal in the stomach.

An Evergreen woman reported money was stolen from her wallet while it was impounded after she was arrested.

An Evergreen woman residing on Stone Street took her cat to a veterinarian and found it had been shot with a BB gun.

The boy is facing preliminary charges of assault and criminal mischief in Flathead Youth Court.

A woman reported her dog was attacked by a Jack Russell terrier while she was walking on Fifth Avenue East. She was bit on the hand during the incident.
