Morley wins two events at Western B divisional track meet

CORVALLIS — Makena Morley of Bigfork had a close finish in the 400, but finished 32 seconds ahead of the field in the 1,600 on Friday at the Western B divisional track meet.

Morley, a freshman, posted a time of 62.24 in the 400. Hannah Porch of Florence was close behind, 62.85.

Morley’s time in the 1,600 was 5:05.66.

The Bigfork girls are second after first-day action with 27 points, seven behind Plains.
