Phyllis Jean Messenger, 79

Phyllis Jean Messenger, 79, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012, at Brendan House in Kalispell.

She was born to Garrett and Verna Messenger in Conrad, on Oct. 18, 1932. She attended King's Country School in Conrad, before contracting rheumatic fever. 

She was a housekeeper and had worked at the Branding Iron, North Gate Motel, and the Conrad Cafe, all in Conrad. She moved to Kalispell about 15 years ago. She loved going to Syke's to play bingo or listen to the music.

She was a member of the Central Christian Church. She loved to play games, especially Sorry and dominoes, with friends and family. 

She was preceded in death by both her parents.

She is survived and will be missed dearly by her two sisters, Blanche Gould of Kalispell, and Hazel Roche of Tampa, Fla.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews, from all over the country.
