POLSON — Polson snapped up nearly all the honors on the final day of the Northwestern A divisional tennis tournament on Friday.

The Pirates had singles champions in Whitney Zimmeran and Brady Hislop and one doubles champion in Mollybeth Hendrix and Kenzie Clay.

The Polson girls easily won their sixth straight divisional title with an impressive 65 point total. Whitefish was next with 21.

The Polson boys picked up their first since 2007 with 54 points. Whitefish followed with 29.

Whitefish spoiled a complete sweep by the Pirates when Camp Kenyon and Connor Ellis captured the boys doubles title.

The top four singles players and doubles teams advance to state in Great Falls next week. Play starts Thursday.
