Landlord takes puppies as payment

A woman calling the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office from a Lore Lake Road address Sunday reported that her landlord was kicked her off the property and took her pet poodle and pug puppies in lieu of rent.

There was a report of businesses “tagged” with spray paint on U.S. 2 East in the Evergreen area.

There was a report of aluminum stolen from a shop on Lost Creek Drive.

A man calling from a Birch Drive address reported that his house was broken into and vandalized sometime over the weekend.

A woman calling from U.S. 2 in the West Glacier area reported that her two teen daughters were having a huge fight with each other, locking themselves inside a vehicle and refusing her to obey her.

A woman calling from a Conrad Drive address said her ex-husband was in the house and refusing to leave. He eventually left.

Kalispell Police got a report Sunday night regarding a baby locked in a bathroom by a drawer that prevented the door from opening. The door was eventually opened, and the baby was safe.

At about 11 p.m. Sunday, there was a report of three individuals throwing eggs at traffic on Main Street from a rooftop. A teenage girl ended up getting cited for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

Earlier in the day, someone reported the theft of tools and medication from a vehicle on Corporate Drive.

A person calling from a Fourth Avenue West North address reported that an acquaintance who had been drinking all week showed up with a bloody, black-and-blue eye, bloody knees and memory loss. The man was taken by ambulance for medical treatment.

There was a report from North Meridian Road regarding kids breaking out the window of a vehicle.

There was a report of an iPod stolen in the Hutton Ranch Road area.

At about 5 a.m. Monday, a man calling from an address on U.S. 93 South reported that a woman was in his vehicle and refusing to leave. She eventually got out of the car.

At about 8 a.m., there was a report from a store in the Hutton Ranch Road area regarding a woman who had been “huffing” a product in the bathroom, where she was found passed out. The woman was arrested and taken to the county jail.

There was a report of someone spray painting the city water tower on Buffalo Hill.

There was a report of a vehicle broken into sometime over the weekend on Corporate Drive.

There was a report of an iPod stolen from a vehicle on Blue Crest Drive.

Columbia Falls Police got a report Sunday about someone attempting to siphon gas from a vehicle on Nucleus Avenue.

After a traffic stop on Ninth Street West at about 10:45 p.m., someone was arrested.
