Rose Mary 'Rosie' Goble, 77

| May 21, 2012 11:45 PM

Rose Mary “Rosie” Goble, 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 18, 2012, with her loving husband, Carl Goble, by her side.

Rose, daughter of Frank and Muriel Tyro, was born June 3, 1933, and raised in Dillon.

On Feb. 1, 1951, Rose married Carl Goble of Deer Lodge. The two moved to the Flathead in 1953 where they raised their family.

Rose was a wonderful mother and grandmother who treasured time around a campfire, socializing and forming lifelong friendships. Her love of travel took her cross-country where she worked as a campground host in the great outdoors of Alaska, all the way to the beaches of Mexico.

Rose will be missed by all of the friends she made during her travels, but most of all by her pets and her loving family.

Rose is survived by her husband, Carl; and their seven children, Vonnie Donahue and husband Warren of Eureka, Craig Goble and wife Lori of Whitefish, Curt Goble and wife Marlene of Whitefish, Jim Goble and wife Mary Ellen of Whitefish, Beth Clark of Eureka, Helen Winchell and Mitch Bradford of Kalispell, and Keith Goble and wife Patsy of Gillette, Wyo.; and 11 grandchildren. She also leaves behind her loving dog, Brandy.

No memorial service will be held for Rose at this time.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Rose's name to your local Humane Society, as she was a lover of animals.
