Dorothy Bergstrom Graham, 83

| May 22, 2012 9:30 PM

Dorothy passed away peacefully May 21, 2012, at her home in Kalispell.

She was born June 9, 1928, in Kalispell, to Rudolph and Alma Bergstrom. She was raised in Somers and enjoyed growing up near Flathead Lake with her brothers Rudy and Ray. She took great pride in being a third generation Montanan.

Dorothy was an avid golfer, great bowler and thoroughly enjoyed traveling the world. She worked many years at JCPenney and Strawberry Patch. Her customers always enjoyed her smile and her caring attitude. She enjoyed Sunday drives all over the valley with her husband Bob.

Dorothy provided an amazing amount of love to her daughter Claudette and her grandson Don throughout their lives. Her daughter was able to return that love, by caring for her mother at home, as her health diminshed.

Dorothy was a giving, caring woman with a beautiful smile who added a bit of humor to each situation. For all that she did and for all that she was, Dorothy will be truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudoplf and Alma Bergstrom; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Bergstrom and Irene Walter.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Graham; and the entire Graham family, brothers Ray Bergstrom, Rudy Bergstrom and his wife Ruthie, her loving daughter Claudette Walter Biller and her husband Randy, caring grandson Don Walter and his wife Angela, and her great-grandchildren Brooke and Tyler Walter. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at Dorothy’s home in Kalispell today, May 23. Please join us between 2 and 7 p.m. to share your memories, pictures and stories about this wonderful woman.

At Dorothy’s request, there will be no services. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.

Contributions and donations may be made to Home Options Hospice, 275 Corporate Drive, Suite 600, Kalispell MT 59901. The entire family appreciates the care support provided by Hospice.
