Woman steers clear of druggies with guns

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a woman who said she went to Syth Lane to get her boat and was met by “meth heads” with automatic weapons. She then left the scene and contacted authorities.

A report of a man trying to give a 14-year-old girl a ride was discovered to be a man just trying to be nice. He was cautioned by police.

A man was reported lurking around houses on Shady Lane.

A man was reported going through a vehicle on Whitefish Stage Road.

A Ruger handgun was stolen from a vehicle while it was being worked on in Kalispell.

A handgun reported stolen from a South Hilltop Road residence in Columbia falls was located in Glacier County.

A home and shop were burglarized on First Avenue South in Hungry Horse. Things were moved around in the home but nothing was missing there, though a scooter was stolen from the shop.

Someone ransacked two vehicles on Conn Road in Columbia Falls.

A home on Konley Drive was burglarized.


A woman contacted the Kalispell Police Department after discovering her new home was a former meth house. She was concerned for the safety of her children and wanted to verify if it had been cleaned up or if there was a program to get it cleaned up.

A concerned resident reported overhearing a “very vivid conversation” about robbing a casino.

A Third Avenue West man wanted input on an ongoing issue with his neighbor, who he said has threatened to kill his dog and damage his property.

A coffee kiosk employee reported three boys in a car stole her tip jar, which had about $40 inside.

A man and woman were reported possibly doing drugs in a vehicle while in a parking lot off West Idaho Street.

A man was arrested on a county warrant after officers responded to a report of a man slumped over in the seat of a vehicle on Airport Road. There was at least one child in the vehicle with him.

Several men were reported dressing and undressing in the street in front of an Eighth Avenue West home. The men were counseled on dressing inside instead of outside.

A bartender called for assistance getting a sleeping patron to leave.

A girl was arrested and taken to the Flathead Juvenile Detention Center and a man arrested and taken to the Flathead County Detention Center after officers responded to a report of a physical disturbance on Airport Road.

A man was arrested on a warrant on South Main Street.

Several people were reported spraying bear spray at the Woodland Skate Park.

Students were reported leaving their lunch garbage on sidewalks near a school on Third Avenue West.

All four tires were slashed on a vehicle on Second Avenue West.


An officer with the Columbia Falls Police Department was asked to respond to South Veteran Drive where a social worker found a resident with marijuana and a pipe.


The Whitefish Police Department received a report of indecent exposure.


Officers with the Ronan Police Department arrested a motorist for aggravated driving under the influence on U.S. 93.

Officers located an assault victim after responding to a 911 hang-up at Ronan High School.
