Illness may have led to rollover crash

Emergency responders were called to a single- vehicle rollover on U.S. 93 near the intersection with Montana 82 at approximately 4:45 p.m. Friday. The driver rolled his vehicle after suffering from a heart attack or stroke while driving. CPR was performed at the scene.


The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to several calls throughout the valley related to all-terrain vehicles.

A Helena Flats Road resident reported a man pulled up to his house on an all-terrain vehicle while he was inside getting dressed. Without knocking the man walked onto his porch, opened the door, stuck his head in and asked if he could use the phone. When the resident let him use the phone he said “Oh, the phone must be dead,” and left.

A person riding around on an all-terrain vehicle broke into a store on U.S. 2 East in Columbia Falls and reportedly stole several items.

A 12-year-old boy was reported stealing gas for his all-terrain vehicle on U.S. 2 West in Columbia Falls.

A boy was arrested on Martin Road in Martin City after deputies responded to a report that an all-terrain vehicle and a mini-motorbike had been stolen. The boy and another person were found with the all-terrain vehicle.

A Kalispell woman reported her soon-to-be ex-husband poured a beer on her, hit her car with his hand and urinated on her.

Several people were reported passing around a pipe in a vehicle that was swerving all over the road near Woodland Park.

A raft was found lodged upside-down in rocks on Logan Creek. No victims were reported and the raft was unretrievable due to high water.

A Kalispell woman said someone stole one of her husband’s signs seeking support for his candidacy for the Montana Senate.

A runner was bit in the leg by a dog on West Reserve Drive.

A 1950s truck was reported doing burnouts on Painted Shadow Road, part of an ongoing problem in the area.

A person reported finding more poison at a boat launch on Lodgepole Drive in Marion, saying birds are eating it and that he found a goose that had been poisoned.

A Columbia Falls woman reported her 17-year-old son took $700 out of her wallet.

Someone broke into a Columbia Falls building and stole several items.

A boy was arrested on Fourth Street East in Kalispell.

A theft was caught on video on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell.

Someone broke several windows and spray painted graffiti on a building on U.S. 2 East in Coram.


Officers with the Kalispell Police Department arrested three men for criminal mischief and being minors in possession of alcohol after officers responded to Sunny View Lane, where another person had chased and detained them.

A high school sophomore reported being bullied on Facebook by a student challenging her to fight.

A suspicious teenager was reported “lighting up” something on Triple Creek Drive.

A student was found in possession of a beer by a coach on North Main Street.

A syringe was found in the bathroom of a gas station of East Idaho Street.

A North Meridian Road resident reported a loud party in the apartment below and also smelled marijuana.

A man was arrested on Ninth Avenue West on a felony warrant for violating their sentence on a partner or family member assault conviction.

A motorist was cited for driving with a suspended license on U.S. 93 North.

A person picked up pain medication at a business on U.S. 93 North and left without paying.

An iPod, a pair of sunglasses and electronic equipment were stolen from a locked car on Sixth Street East.


Officers with the Columbia Falls Police Department arrested a woman after she attacked and bit her boyfriend, who had to hang up with 911 to defend himself at a home on 10th Avenue West.

A fight was reported on Ninth Street West.
