Mark Lowell Johnson, 56

Mark Lowell Johnson, age 56, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012, in Kalispell.  

Mark was born August 2, 1955 in Rice Lake, Wis. 

He graduated from Minnetonka High School in 1973 and continued his schooling at Hennepin County Technical training in Landscape Design. 

Mark moved to Montana in 1974 and was the owner of Majestic Mountain Landscaping, Inc., the longest existing landscaping business in Kalispell. 

With his Montana family he enjoyed skiing in the many mountain areas, sailing out of the yacht club at Flathead Lake, kite skiing, camping on Haskill Mountain adjacent to his home in Kila, where his ashes will be spread at a later date.

Mark was preceded in death by his loving mother Dolores E. Johnson. He is survived by his father Wallace “Wally” M. Johnson of Plymouth, Minn; son Shawn MacNorius of Whitefish; brother Scott, Todd (Tammy); sister Jill Nystedt (Gary); cousins Kent Jones (Mary), Bruce (Dee), Lowell (Linda); and many nephews and nieces.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 31, at the Christian Center in Kalispell.
