Libby rallies to beat Bandits

CRANBROOK, B.C. — The Libby Loggers bounced back from a rough second inning with three runs in each of the fourth and fifth innings to defeat the Rocky Mountain Bandits 12-10 in an American Legion baseball game on Sunday in Cranbrook, B.C.

The Loggers scored six runs in the first two innings, but gave up five walks, two hits and three hit batsmen in a seven-run second inning for the Bandits.

Libby bounced back, though, with four hits in the fourth inning and another four in the fifth.

Jared Winslow was 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI, Micah Germany was 4-for-5 and Oliver Gruhenhoff was 2-for-4 with two doubles in the Logger effort.
