William H. “Bill” Shewell, 79, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, at Brendan House in Kalispell.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Shewell, two sisters, nieces and nephews.
He served in the U.S. Army in Korea for two years. Bill retired from Hughes Aircraft after 35 years. He enjoyed visiting national parks, hiking, skiing, golf, photography, musicals, operas and glider riding.
Bill and Marilyn moved from California to Kalispell in 1987.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Grace Bible College, 1011 Aldon St. SW, P.O. Box 910, Grand Rapids, MI 49509-0910.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on June 2 at Grace Church in Kalispell.
