Cyclist, driver tangle

 The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office mediated an argument between two men after a fight between a motorist and a bicyclist on East Oregon Street.

The motorist said the bicyclist kicked his truck as he passed, so he turned around and, according to the other man, ran the bicyclist off the road. He then got out of his truck and threw the man to the ground, telling him he was riding dangerously.

In the end, the men apologized to one another and did not pursue charges.

Children were caught trespassing on the roof of Helena Flats Schools after they caught the eye of an observant resident. They were all cooperative with deputies and were released to parents.

Someone made a small hole for a theft on First Street South West in Hungry Horse, damaging a fence to steal a minibike.

A motorist was reported for drinking and driving on Ridgewood Drive after a passer-by saw him take a sip of beer and put it back in his center console.
