Evelyn Hoerner, 76

Evelyn Hoerner, born on May 18, 1935, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Evelyn was born in Killdeer, N.D., but lived most of her life in Columbia Falls.

Evelyn was known for her indomitable will and spirit, unflagging positive attitude and everlasting belief and faith in the Lord. She faced her life with perseverance and determination, and she fought and won an unbelievable number of battles in her lifetime.

“Finally at peace in her final resting place, the Kingdom of the Lord, she goes now to glory in His grace.”

She leaves behind seven children, Arlis Herman and her husband Harold of Columbia Falls, Lorsy Pinkerton and her husband Roy of Orting, Wash., Cindy White of Orting, Sue Snyder of Kalispell, Patricia Slaymaker and her husband Dick of Rochester, Wash., Tyler Triplet and his wife Cindy of Tacoma, Wash., and Steve Triplet of Orting. Evelyn had 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Also left behind are sisters, Diane and Paulette; and brothers, Cal Bonnet and wife May, Lester Bonnet and wife Verla, and Kurt Amelsberg and wife Nancy. There are many nieces and nephews who will miss her.
