Vera Louise Zinn, 80

Vera Louise Zinn, 80, was born on Dec. 21, 1931, in Burley, Idaho, to Kenneth and Mary Rendahl. 

She passed away on Nov. 5, 2012, at North Valley Hospital in Whitefish, with most of her family by her side during her final few days.

Vera was first married to Bill W. Phillips and raised her family in San Francisco. Bill passed away in 1975. She later married Larry Zinn and moved to Whitefish in 1987. Larry passed away in 2000. 

She was committed to her family and was a devoted member of the Whitefish Church of the Nazarene. Vera also was a volunteer with the North Valley Hospital's auxiliary. 

Vera is survived by her three sons, Thomas Phillips of California, Bill Phillips of Kalispell, and David Phillips of Columbia Falls; two brothers, Ben and Jim Rendahl; and one sister, Jean Driscoll.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Nazarene Church in Whitefish, with a luncheon to follow.
