Deputies look for Hungry Horse paint vandals

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help catching a vandal who spray-painted several businesses in the downtown Hungry Horse area Monday night. Anyone with information about this crime or suspects in the case is asked to call Crimestoppers at 752-8477 (or 752-TIPS).

Columbia Falls Police Department officers responded to Nucleus Avenue along with emergency medical technicians after a reportedly drunk, disoriented man who could barely walk complained that there was something wrong with his veins.

Youths were reported egging houses in the area of Cedar Pointe Loop.

 Whitefish Police Department officers responded to a West Eighth Street home after a man reported there was an ongoing problem with people yelling at each other and that when he asked them to quiet down, they threatened to “take care of him.”

Someone broke into a Central Avenue home through a window and stole a 10-millimeter Glock handgun and two magazines.

The Polson Police Department received a report of a theft from a vehicle on 12th Avenue East.

A theft of vehicle parts or accessories was reported in the parking lot of a cafe.

 The Lake County Sheriff’s Office uncovered an incident of partner or family member assault while doing a welfare check on U.S. 93.
